Karkala: Burglar arrested; stolen valuables recovered

Karkala, September 3, 2024: Karkala police have arrested a man wanted in a house burglary case in Mudaru village.

The arrested person is Santosh T (32), a resident of Mala. A complaint was earlier lodged stating that jewellery worth Rs 10.05 lakhs was stolen from the cupboard of a house in Mudaru village on August 30.

A special police team was formed to nab the thief and on September 1 the accused was arrested and the valuables stolen by him were recovered. Even a two-wheeler was seized from the arrested person.
