Karkala: School trip bus overturns; several students, teachers injured

Karkala, Jan 02, 2023: Several  students were injured after the tourist bus in which they were on a school trip overturned at Pajegudde curve near Nellur on the Dharmasthala-Karkala State Highway on January 2, Monday. Three teachers and two students have sustained serious injuries.

 

As many as 20 injured students have been hospitalised. The students of Basaveshwar High School of Kottur taluk in Vijayanagar  district were on a tour and were on way to Mangaluru from Dharmasthala when the mishap took place.
