Karkala: Suspects Naxals spotted in Eedu village?

Karkala, November 7, 2024: Suspected Naxals have once again been spotted in Eedu village of Karkala taluk sending panic among locals.

It is learnt a group of four armed youth were spotted near a colony in the village on Monday. Locals who had been to the adjacent forest to collect forest produce noticed the armed group

It may be recalled here the suspected Naxals were seen at a spot which was just one km away from Bollottu where the first Naxal encounter in the state took place years ago.
