Mangaluru, Feb 19, 2021: Leaders who feel the pulse of the people and have concern for the society will remain in the minds of the public for long, said Dr Gururaja Karajagi, Chairman of the Academy for Creative Teaching, Bengaluru.
He was delivering the Founder’s Day lecture of Karnataka Bank on the occasion of the 97th Founder’s Day of the Bank at a ceremony held at the Auditorium of the Bank’s Head Office on February 18, Thursday.
"Leaders who can strike a chord with the people earn their love and respect. It is owing to this reason that great leaders like Dr Abdul Kalam are remembered by the people. The society will never forget those people who strived for its well-being,’’ he added.
P Jayaram Bhat, Chairman of Karnataka Bank presided over the function. Mahabaleshwara M S, Managing Director and CEO of the Bank who welcomed the gathering said Karnataka Bank has strived its best to ensure maximum service to the customers even during the Covid pandemic. While incorporating modern technology to provide the best of services, the Bank has also spent Rs 26.45 crores towards 619 projects under its Corporate Social Responsibility, he added.
