Kasargod Municipal Stadium Road renamed after cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar

Kasargod, February 22, 2025: The Kasargod TMC has renamed the Kasargod Municipal Stadium Road after the cricket legend Sunil Gavaskar. The nameboard of “Sunil Gavaskar Municipal Stadium Road” was unveiled in the presence of Sunil Gavaskar in a grand ceremony on Friday.

 

 

 

Gavaskar was accorded a grand reception on his arrival in Kasargod. Several officials and cricket fans had gathered to catch a glimpse of Sunil Gavaskar. Kasargod MLA N A Nellikunnu described this as a historic moment and hoped the arrival of Gavaskar would prove an inspiration to local players.
