Kasargod : Rs 10 lakh worth MDMA drug seized ; 4 arrested

Kasargod, April 22, 2022: In a major drugs haul, Kasargod Excise special squad officials have arrested four persons who were illegally tansporting MDMA and have seized 200 grams contraband worth around Rs 10 lakhs.

 

Those arrested are Sameer, Sheikh Abdul Naushad, Shafi  of Kasargod and Aboobakker Siddique of Dakshina Kannada.

The raid was conducted near Adoor based on a tip off. The car was chased by the officials for several kilometers before finally apprehending the accused at Kuntaru.

The contraband was reportedly procured from Bengaluru and was being taken to be sold in Kasargod and Dakshina Kannada.
