Kasargod: Snake bites teacher during Onam festivities in school

Kasargod, September 14, 2024: A teacher of a school in Neeleshwar was hospitalized after a snake bit a lady teacher during the Onam celebrations in the school on Friday.

The incident took place when various competitions were underway in the school. There was panic when the snake bit the teacher. She was immediately rushed to the hospital where she is recovering.

The forest personnel have trapped the snake. It is learnt it was not a poisonous snake.
