Kasargod: Woman dies in horrific road mishap

Kasargod, October 4, 2024: A 31 year old woman has lost her life in a horrific accident on the National Highway at Thekkil on Thursday night.

The deceased is Shashikala of Chandrapare. Shashikala along with her husband Mani and two children was on way to Chattanchal from Cherkala when Mani lost control over his scooter. All the four fell on the road and a lorry which was passing that way ran over Shashikala killing her on the spot.

Her husband and children however escaped unhurt in the mishap. The accident disrupted traffic on the highway for some time.
