Kasargod: Youth arrested for placing stones on railway tracks

Kasargod, November 20, 2024: Police have arrested a man from Parakkode on the charges of placing stones on the railway tracks in Kasargod with ulterior motives.

The authorities had found stones on the tracks at Kalnad, Melparamba, Kiyoor and other places. The locopilot of the Amritsar-Kochi train had first spotted the stones and had informed the railway authorities.

The arrested man is Akheel John Mathew (21). He is being questioned by the police.
