Kaup: Anxious moments as Liquid Carbon Dioxide leaks from tanker

Kaup, July 08, 2022: Anxious moments prevailed for some time on the National Highway 66 near Uliyaragoli Dandatheertha on July 8, Friday after Liquid Carbon Dioxide began leaking from a tanker.

 

The tanker was heading towards Mangaluru from Udupi when all of a sudden smoke was noticed. It is learnt that there was leakage when the safety pin of the tanker opened up.

Fire service personnel and Kaup police who rushed to the spot ensured there arose no problem and paved way for smooth movement of vehicular traffic.
