Kinnigoli: One dead, four injured in car-tipper collision

Mangaluru, Aug 10, 2023: One person died and four others sustained injuries, one of them seriously, in a collision between a car and a tipper at Moorukaveri on the Kinnigoli-Moodbidri state highway on August 9, Wednesday evening.

 

The deceased person is Ramanna (49) of Beluvai. The injured are Sanjeeva, Anand, Dinesh, Praveen and Vasanth. The car was heading towards Mulki from Aikala while the tipper was heading towards Beluvai when the car went out of control of the driver and veered on the roadside and again moved towards the middle of the road when it hit the tipper.

The car was badly mangled due to the impact of the collision. The   people in the house were returning home to Beluvai after demolition work of their old house at Karnad.
