Mangaluru, May 01, 2018: Konkani Writers Association, Karnataka organised a symposium on Konkani short stories at Don Bosco Club, Mangalore, Apr 29, Dolphy Lobo a talented writer analysed a short story written by Dr. Edward Nazareth as a thought provoking excercise.
Jerald Rasquinha spoke on another short story written by Lavie, Ganjimata. Dr. Jerald Pinto, Kallianpur moderated the session. The writers expressed their views on these short stories, which went a long way to know the methods.
Dr. Austin Souza Prabhu who had come all the way from USA and a seasoned writer and publisher was the chief guest; he congratulated the association for organizing the symposium and said, such symposiums would help writers to sharpen their skills. Richard Moras presided over the program. Cyril G Sequiera (CGS) proposed vote of thanks. Donald Periera conducted, that was attended by a good number of known writers and publishers.
