Mangaluru, February 23, 2025: The third edition of “Kshatra Sangama,” a grand gathering of the Ramakshatriya community, was inaugurated on Saturday at Palemar Garden, Morgan’s Gate. The event was organized under the leadership of the Ramakshatriya Seva Sangha (R), Mangaluru.
The inauguration ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp by former minister Shri J. Krishna Palemar, who presided over the event. J.K. Rao extended a warm welcome to the dignitaries, while Yogesh Kumar Jeppur delivered the introductory speech.
In his keynote address, Shri Krishna Palemar highlighted the historical and cultural importance of the Kshatriya community, describing the event as a significant milestone in fostering unity. Reflecting on the evolution of the community from four clans in the past to the current 39 subgroups in Karnataka, he stressed the need for greater solidarity. He proposed conducting similar gatherings across districts to bring the community closer. Palemar praised the community’s contributions to law enforcement and urged its members to actively serve society with patriotism and dedication.
Orator Srikant Shetty, speaking at the event, commended the resilience and valor of the Kshatriya community. He cited historical examples, such as Queen Abbakka of Ullal, who repelled Portuguese invasions, and Bekal Thimma Nayaka, a martyr who valiantly resisted British forces. Shetty emphasized the importance of remembering these heroes and urged the community to continue standing firm in protecting the nation’s values and preserving the constitution.
The event was attended by prominent personalities, including C.H. Muralidhar, Yogesh Jeppu, Vinod Kumar, Ananth Padmanabha, Sandeep J., Raghavendra Rao, Suresh Rao (President of the Ramakshatriya Federation), Dinesh, and Shivaprasad (the association’s internal auditor).
