Kulai: Youth dies of electrocution after stepping on live wire

Mangaluru, July 05, 2023: A youth died of electrocution when he stepped into a live wire while on way to work early morning at Kulai near Suratkal on July 5, Wednesday.

 

The deceased is Santosh. An electric cable got snapped and had landed on the ground due to strong winds late night on Tuesday. However unaware of this Santosh was on way to the industrial area for work when tragedy struck.

In another incident, a house belonging to Narayana Moolya was damaged after the branch of a huge tree fell over the house. Though power cables also got snapped, luckily the cables got caught in one of the branches averting a major mishap.
