Kundapur: Andhra origin driver found dead inside lorry

Kundapur, October 17, 2024: The driver of a lorry bearing Andhra Pradesh registration, was found dead inside the vehicle on Wednesday.

The vehicle was parked  on the side of the highway in front of the Varaha Swami Temple close by the Maravanthe beach since six days due to some engine fault.

The driver has been identified as Babu Rai of Andhra Pradesh. According to the cleaner of the lorry, the driver had been to a hospital in Kundapur for treatment due to ill-health four days ago.

The body has been shifted to the Manipal hospital mortuary.
