Kundapur: Fisherman drowns in sea

Kundapur, September 9, 2024: A fisherman lost his life after being washed away by high tidal waves while he had stepped into the water to fetch the fishing net cast in the sea on Monday afternoon at Parampalli near Kota.

The deceased is Bhasker Poojary (55), a local resident. Though Coastal Security Police personnel immediately plunged into the waters to rescue Bhasker, his life could not be saved.
