Kundapur: Grocery store gutted in fire mishap

Kundapur, November 29, 2024: A grocery store was gutted in a fire mishap at Japti in Kundapur taluk on Thursday night.

The shop was run by a couple and the fire was noticed at around 10 pm after the owners closed the shop and returned home.

Locals immediately alerted the owners and assisted in dousing the fire. However by the time the fire was doused, almost all the goods were destroyed.

The loss has been estimated at Rs 2 lakhs.
