Kundapur: Junior Health inspector commits suicide

Kundapur, September 6, 2024: A junior health inspector serving a Community Health Centre in Byndoor has ended his life at a lodge in Kundapur.

The deceased is Prashanth (37) from Shivamogga. He had taken a room in the lodge on September 5 and was later found dead. It is suspected that he had consumed poison.

It is learnt, he often used to confide with his friends about his mental distress. The deceased has left behind his wife and a child.

Kundapur police are investigating the case.
