Kundapur: Leopard rescued from well by forest personnel

Kundapur, Oct 10, 2022: Forest Department personnel have rescued a leopard which had fallen into a well at Kolur in Kundabarandadi village of the taluk.

The leopard reportedly fell into the well near the house of a person named Masti last night. When family members saw the leopard floating on Monday morning, they informed the Forest Department.

The personnel who arrived at the spot, cleverly dropped a cage into the well and managed to get the leopard inside it.

The rescued leopard is a female aged around 4-5 years.

Kundapur Range Forest officer T Kiran Babu and other personnel took part in the rescue operation.
