Kundapur: Speeding autorickshaw fatally knocks down elderly man

Kundapur, January 23, 2025: An elderly pedestrian lost his life after a speeding autorickshaw knocked him down at Basrur Moorukai in Kundapur on January 22.

The deceased is Somayya of Odeyar Hobli. The autorickshaw all of a sudden veered to the left of the road and knocked down Somayya who was walking on the roadside injuring him seriously.

He was immediately rushed to Kundapur Government Hospital. However, he had breathed his last by then.

Kundapur Traffic Police have registered a case.
