Lack of road: Elderly citizen shifted to hospital in chair

Guttigar, October 17, 2024: Due to lack of proper road, villagers of Nadubettu in Madappady village, recently shifted an ailing elderly citizen to hospital by carrying him in a chair.

There are around 14 houses in this area and the kutcha road is in complete mess and no vehicle driver agrees to come to this place during monsoon. However during summer pick-ups and jeeps operate here.

Local residents also have no other option but to carry their agricultural produce on head loads.
