Lady cop alerts riders san helmets; slaps penalty

Mangaluru, Dec 25, 2014 : On December 24 i.e  Christmas eve, amid the joyous atmosphere, some   two-wheeler riders  near the Milagres Church during late evening were forced to cough up Rs 100 as fine- Wondering why? A Lady inspector was on duty  and was diligently  slapping fine on those without helmets and those with helmets but without the ISI mark.

 

 

 While media men were busy taking photos, the lady inspector made it clear that she was not after publicity  but only wanted the riders and the public to be aware of traffic rules and also understand that the cops were on the alert.

 Should’nt we open heartedly praise the duty consciousness of the traffic police personnel?
