Landslide at Soorikumeru on Mangaluru-Bengaluru NH

Bantwal, July 11, 2022: A landslide was reported  at Soorikumeru on the Mangaluru-Bengaluru National Highway on July 11, Monday.

 

As the road works are underway, a hill that was excavated to facilitate the works, caved in with huge mounds  of soil and slush landing on the road.

The landslide disrupted traffic for some time on the road. The mud was removed with the help of a JCB and traffic has been restored.
