Lepakshi exhibition inaugurated in city

Mangalore, Nov 5: ‘Lepakshi’ handicraft exhibition, sponsored by Development Commissioner (Handicrafts) Ministry of Textiles, Government of India organized by Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium was innaugurated at WoodLands Hotel on Thursday November 5 at 10.30 am.

 

Speaking after inaugurating the exhibition, Mayor M Shankar Bhat, Mangalore  City Corporation said that the people of the city has a good opportunity to purchase the handicrafts of various states under one roof.

P Shashidhar, assistant director, Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium said that 10 days exhibition will be held to develop and promote handicrafts.

Rohini, assistant director, Information Department, K V Subbanna, manager and Jacab D’Souza of Lepakshi Handicrafts Emporium and were present on the occasion.
