Lions and Leo Club organise Blood donation and free health check-up camp

Mangaluru, September 5, 2022: Lions and Leo Club Palguni organised a massive Blood Donation and Free Health Checkup Camp in association with YuvaVahini (R.) Kulur chapter along with Red Cross Mangalore and Hind Khust Nivar Sangh on Sunday 4th September 2022 at Palguni Auditorium in Kulur, Mangaluru.
Mangalore City North M L A Dr. Y. Bharath Shetty Inaugurated the program by lighting lamp and being doctor himself he addressed the gathering on the importance of blood donation. Former District Governor of Lions Club, Lion Ronald Gomes spoke on the his view on the blood donation camp and encouraged youth to donate lifesaving blood.
Chairperson of Red Cross Mangalore, Dr. J S. Bhatt informed how one should be noble and help others, blood donation is one such deed. Lion Lokesh Kotian, President of Lions Club Mangalore Palguni presidented the program and welcomed all the guests.
Deekshith C S, President of YuvaVahini(R.) Kulur chapter and Bhaskar Kotian, owner of Anugrah Power Services, were present on the occasion. Vote of thanks was offered by Lion CA Shravan Kumar.Treasurer of Lions club Palguni.
Over 100 members participated in the camp and more than 50 donated their blood for noble cause. Through this program, people gained insights to the importance of blood donation and also made their lives worthwhile through blood donation and people also made use of the free health checkup camp, thus making the event a great success.
Inaugration of Lions and Leo Club, the oath taking program of the new office bearers for the year 2022- 23 was held under the leadership of former district governor of Lions Club, Lion Ronald Gomes.
Lion Lokesh Kotian as President, Lion Jagdish Suvarna as Secretary and Lion Shravan Kumar CA as Treasurer of Lions Club Mangaluru Palguni and Leo Shravan Kumar as President, Leo Bhavish as Secretary and Leo Pavan Kumar as Treasurer of Leo club Palguni.
