Love affair ends in tragedy: Missing pair found hanging from tree

Udupi, June 13, 2015: The bodies of an autorickshaw driver and a teenage girl who were reportedly in love with each other were found hanging  from a tree  on the outskirts of Kajarahalli on June 12, Friday evening. The two were earlier reported missing and a  complaint was also lodged in Shankernarayana Police Station.

 

 

 

The deceased are Diwaker (26) and Chaithra (16), both from Kajarahalli.  The girl was studying in Mandarthi High School by staying at her aunt’s house.

According to sources, the families of the two had objected to their affair as they belonged to different communities. Recently the two were even seen spotted in a public place by the villagers following which some comments were passed against them. There is a possibility that they were deeply hurt  by this  eventually  forcing them to decide to end their lives.

Diwaker  also owned an Omni car which was found in an abandoned place close by the  spot where the two were found hanging.
