MCC asks dog owners to apply for license

Mangaluru, Nov 28, 2023: In a bid to check dog bite incidents and in order to prevent domestic dogs from roaming on the streets, the Mangaluru City Corporation has directed all dog owners to apply for a license for their pet dogs.

 

Along with the application the citizens need to provide the vaccination record of the dog, Aadhaar card of the owner, two photographs of the dog and a NOC from the neighbours, a communique from the MCC Commissioner said.

The Corporation has warned of action if the dog owners allow their dogs to roam on the streets leading to inconvenience to others.
