MCC officials fine those violating mask rules

Mangaluru, Sep 26, 2020:   People  who were not wearing masks while in public  places were penalised  during a drive launched by the Mangaluru City Corporation officials on September 26, Saturday. MCC Health Officer Dr Manjayya Shetty along with other officials and traffic police stopped people travelling in vehicles as well as pedestrians and shopkeepers who were not wearing masks and  collected fine from them.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The move by the MCC comes at a time when the Covid cases in the city limits are not showing a declining trend and many people have been found  neglecting Covid related guidelines despite strict warning from the administration.
