MLA JR Lobo hears civic woes of Ashoknagar residents

Mangalore, Aug 7, 2013 : Various civic woes of Ashoknagar area  like underground drainage problem, leakages, overflowing manholes and pipeline damages came  up for discussion at a public grievance hearing meet convened by Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo on August 7, Wednesday.

 

 

The meeting was held at the residence of  Anasuya Maben, former deputy mayor at Dambel, Ashoknagar.

 Participants of the meeting also drew the attention of the MLA regarding improper waste management,  failure of the MCC authorities to  undertake fogging or spraying anti-mosquito repellents.

Later, the MLA conducted a reality check by visiting various places in the area. He discussed the problems with MCC officials and engineers and directed them to take up remedial measures at the earliest.

 MCC officials  Jayanth, Sudarshan, Manjunath Shetty, Rajashekhar, Corporators  Padmanabha Amin, Radhakrishna and Nagaveni were also present.
