MLA Umanath Kotian secures injunction against publication of damaging news

Mangaluru, April 12, 2023: The First Additional Civil Judge and JMFC of Mangaluru has passed an interim order imposing temporary injunction against media houses from  publishing any statement, photo or articles  which aim at damaging the reputation of Mulki-Moodbidri MLA Umanath Kotian.

 

It is learnt, Kotian had moved the court seeking injunction to avert publication of unsubstantiated reports. Sources reveal a few BJP MLAs of the district too may follow suit.
