MLA Vedavyas Kamath deplores Police Department guidelines for Mosaru Kudike celebrations

Mangaluru, Sept 7, 2023: Mangaluru South MLA Vedavyas Kamath has expressed his displeasure over the restrictions imposed by the police with regard to Janmashtami and Mosarukudike celebrations.

“The Department has asked for photos of office bearers of celebration committee. Attempts are being made to restrict the celebrations through police department. It has also been directed to complete the celebrations by 10 pm,” the MLA has fumed.

Referring to Udayanidhi Stalin remarks, he said the remarks make it clear that their work is to disrupt Hindu religious programme. “We will hold celebrations on every street,” he said.
