Mallika Prasad Bhandary appointed as DK district BJP Mahila Morcha president

Mangalore, Oct 13, 2013: Former Puttur MLA Mallika Prasad Bhandary has been appointed as DK district BJP Mahila Morcha president for the period of three years.

           

This has been announced by the BJP district president, K Pratapsimha Nayak.

Mallika Prasad had contested against Congress leader Bondala Jagannath Shetty in the 2008 Karnataka assembly elections and won by 1,425 votes. By then the present MLA Shakuntala Shetty contested as an independent candidate after not being given the party ticket.
