Malpe: Fisherman falls off boat; dies

Malpe, January 29, 2025: A fisherman lost his life after accidentally falling into the sea from the boat at Malpe.

The deceased is Shivananda Narayana Harikantha (47) from Kumta. He had  ventured into fishing on the night of January 21 and died in the mishap that took nearly five days later while he was drawing the net from the sea.

Malpe police have registered a case.
