Malpe: Hotel gutted in fire mishap

Malpe, April 16, 2025: A hotel near Malpe beach was gutted in a fire mishap. The loss has been estimated at Rs 15 lakhs.

The Amma Hotel where the fire broke out, is owned by Sachin. A short circuit in the refrigerator after the owner left home after closing down the hotel, is suspected to be the cause of the fire.  Several goods inside the hotel were gutted in the fire. The fire tender vehicles which rushed to the spot, doused the fire and ensured that the fire did not spread to neighbouring shops.
