Man arrested for sexually harassing minor, assaulting mother of victim

Mangaluru, July 2, 2024: Kavoor police have arrested a man from Bondel KBH Colony on the charges of sexually harassing a minor girl and even assaulting the latter’s mother who questioned him.

The arrested man is Naveen. It is said the accused misbehaved with the 14 year old girl when she had been to a nearby park along with her 10 year old brother to play. It is said the accused who was in the portico of his house, flashed his private parts on seeing the girl and had even deliberately came in the way of the girl’s brother resulting in his fall. The boy has suffered injuries.

The mother of the children had approached the accused to question his misbehavior when he reportedly assault her. Following this a complaint was lodged and the accused arrested.

The girl’s father has alleged that the accused has misbehaved with girls even in the past.
