Man attempts suicide; falls to ground and dies after rope breaks

Udupi, December 30, 2024: A man who attempted suicide by hanging himself to the iron grill of the roofing on the first floor of his house, died after the rope broke and he fell down on the ground.

The deceased is Melroy Fernandes (55). He suffered serious head injuries and lost his life on the spot.

It is learnt, the deceased had pledged his organs for donation.
