Man dies of electrocution while plucking tender coconuts

Shirva, August 8, 2024: A person was electrocuted while plucking tender coconuts at Nadibettu on August 8, Thursday morning.

The deceased is Suresh Shetty (68) who worked in the house of a plantation owner. The owner was away when Suresh was plucking tender coconuts using a iron rod. The iron rod touched a high tension wire above, electrocuting Suresh.
