Man dies on spot after tanker rams into scooter near Nanthoor

Mangaluru, July 30, 2024: A scooter rider died after being hit by a tanker at Nanthoor Padavu in the city on Tuesday morning. The deceased rider has been identified as Shivananda (42), a resident of Adyar Kannur.

The accident occurred when Shivananda was traveling on a scooter from KPT to Nanthoor Padavu and was hit by a tanker coming from the opposite direction. As a result, the tanker ran over Shivananda’s head, leading to his death on the spot, according to the traffic police who have registered the case.
