Mangalore: Bejai Raja murder accused produced before court

Mangalore, Dec 22, 2012: The three persons recently arrested in connection with the murder of dreaded rowdy Bejai Raja were produced before the court on December 21, Friday and demanded to a day of judicial custody.

The trio was arrested from the Kankanady railway station on December 18. They are Pradeep Mendon (41) from Adi Udupi, Ambalpady, said to be the prime accused in the case, Kiran alias Achyuta (29) of Bolur Sultan Battery area and Chandra Shetty alias Chandu (33) of Ashoknagar.

It is not yet known as to why the three nurtured vengeance against Bejai Raja. The police had earlier arrested four persons in connection with the case on December 13. The total number of arrests so far in   this case is seven.
