Mangalore : Fire in godown at Bhavanthi Street

Mangalore, Feb 3, 2013: A electrical short circuit resulted in a  fire in a rexine godown on Bhavanthi Street on the morning of February 3, Sunday.

The godown belonged to  Canara Agency. As soon as the mishap took  place at around 8.30 am, two fire service vehicles rushed to the spot  and extinguished the fire. However, by then goods worth nearly Rs 1.5 lakh was gutted.

 

A case has been registered in the local police station.
