Mangalore: Mega Media to hold ‘Cultural Fest 2013’ on Jan 18

Mangalore, Jan 10, 2013: Mega Media which is running a web portal apart from offering publicity and advertisement services, will be holding  ‘Cultural Fest 2013’, as part of its  decennial celebration at Town Hall on Jan 18, Friday at 4.30 pm.

Addressing the press meet held at Press Club on Jan 10, Thursday, Chief Editor of Mega Media News Shivaprasad said that  Mega Media established in the year 2002 has completed 10 years in December 2012.

Speaking about  the programmes, he said that  sandalwood comedian  Tennis Krishna will present a comedy play while Mime Ramdas team will present ‘Padathala’ music programme from 4.40 pm to 5.45 pm.

He said  Ganesh Rao, President, Karavali Educational Institutions will inaugurate the event. Karnataka Sahitya Parishat former president Harikrishna Punaroor will preside and Mahabaleshwar Bhat, General Manager, Karnataka Bank will release the souvenir.

MLA Krishna J Palemar, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel, MLC Monappa Bhandary, Sridevi Educational Institution President A Sadananda Shetty, HMS State President Sureshchandra Shetty, MCC former Commissioner J R Lobo, JD(S) State President Nagaraj Shetty, Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy President Umanath Kotian, MRPL Deputy General Manager Lakshmi Kumaran, Dr Hamsraj Alva, MCC Commissioner Harish Kumar, SP Abhishek Goyal,  DKWJU President P B Harish Rai and budding Tulu actor Arjun Kapikad will participate as the chief guests at the stage function to be held at 6 pm. 

Mega Media Journalism Award will be conferred on Vijaya Karnataka Reporter Steevan Rego on the occasion. Sri Devi Temple Thoudugoli founder Govinda Guruswamy, Udayavani photographer Sathish Ira, Music Director Aditya Narayan and Diatek Managing Director Ravinarayan G will be felicitated on the occasion.

Mega Media Director Saritha S and programme co-ordinator Yogish Jappina Mogaru were present at the press meet.
