Mangalore: Valentine D’Souza is new CCB Inspector

Karkala Circle Inspector  Valentine D’Souza has been appointed the new City Crime Branch(CCB) Inspector. He will be replacing Venkatesh  Prasanna who  hitherto held the post.  D’Souza will take charge on September 29.

Valentine D’Souza who hails from Sagar is a 1994 batch KPS officer. He has served the police department as SI in Udupi, Honnavar, Bhatkal and Kota police stations and as Circle Inspector in Panambur, Bantwal, Kundapur and Karkala. He was even the DCIB inspector in Chikmagalur.

Also a body builder, D’Souza has won the Junior Mr.India title in 1991. He is also a recipient of several awards include Sri Pulkeshi Award  and Sri Shivappa Nayak Award.
