Mangalore, Jan10, 2013: Krishnappa Poojari, District President of Yuva Janata Dal(S) has said that rampant corruption and the rising cases of violence against women, has not only made the people of the nation hang their heads in shame, but has also forced them to take to the streets against the problem.
Speaking to reporters here on January 10, Thursday, he said the JD(S) strongly condemned the crime against women . He also took the Centre to task for not acting even after the Indian soldiers serving the border areas, were beheaded by Pakistani army.
Poojari further said the time was ripe for the people to strengthen the hands of the Janata Dal (S) and teach a befitting lesson to the ruling party in the next election.
