Mangaluru: 2 youth drown in Phalguni river while swimming

Mangaluru, September 30, 2024: Two youth drowned in the Phalguni river near the Malavoor railway bridge on Sunday evening, while swimming along with two other friends.

The deceased are Sumith (20)  from Kottara Chowki and Anish (19) from Urvastores. The two along with Arun and Dikshith from Kodikal had gone for a swim in the Phalguni river when strong currents washed them away.
