Mangaluru: 3 arrested for ganja consumption in public places

Mangaluru, January 31, 2025: Police have arrested three persons on the charges of consuming ganja in public places.

A person named Chandrashekhar (30) of Valachilpadavu was arrested for disturbing public peace by consuming ganja in a public place at Mahakalipadpu. In another case, Alen Sibi (19) of Kottayam in Kerala was arrested near Lalbagh while Bobin Sebastian (23) who resided at a PG at Kadri was arrested near Light House Hill. He hails from Thrissur.

Medical tests have confirmed that all the three had consumed ganja.
