Mangaluru: 3 students of University College allegedly attacked

Mangaluru, June 10, 2022: Three  students of the University College in Mangaluru have been hospitalised after they were allegedly attacked by a group on June 10, Friday afternoon.

 

The injured are Rifaz, a third B.Com student, Siddique, Second BA Student and Mazurk, a first year BA student.

The  three were reportedly attacked inside the campus just as they were coming out of the classroom. It is alleged that a group of students  and some  ABVP activists were behind the attack.

Though the exact reason behind the assault is not known, the Hijab row as well as the recent incident wherein Savarkar photo was placed inside a classroom is believed to be the cause of the incident.
