Mangaluru: Bike rider falls under speeding truck as driver applies sudden brake

Mangaluru, February 1, 2025: A bike rider sustained serious injuries after his two-wheeler came under the tyres of a huge truck transporting electricity pole near Mukka on the NH 66 on January 31, Friday.

The driver of the truck was reportedly overspeeding and then applied sudden brakes leading to the bike rider losing control over his two-wheeler which eventually came under the truck.

Locals immediately rushed to the rescue of the bike rider and rushed him to the hospital. The injured rider has been identified as Pradeep Kumar (28) of Karnad Lingappaiahkadu.
