Mangaluru: CCB cops arrest drugs peddler at Lalbagh; seize MDMA

Mangaluru, April 17, 2025: CCB police have arrested a man who was selling the banned MDMA at the Lalbagh area in Mangaluru.

The arrested man is Ashraf Alanthadka (50 of Peruvaje in Sullia. It is learnt, he procured the drugs via courier from Delhi and was selling the same. The police who acted on a tip off arrested him and seized 11 grams MDMA worth Rs one lakh, a mobile phone and a two-wheeler from him.

Investigations revealed that he used to procure MDMA through a friend in Delhi.
