Mangaluru: CCB cops arrest man creating fake documents

Mangaluru, Oct 07, 2023: CCB Police have arrested a man on the charges of creating and selling several fake documents to the public.

The arrested person is Bernard Roshan Mascarenhas (41). He was running a firm named Help Line Mangaluru in a room of the basement of the Vishwas Crown Apartment Building on Kankanady-Pumpwell road.

 

CCB police had gathered definite tip off that he was creating fake Aadhar, ration cards, marks cards, birth certificates and other documents. During the raid huge quantity of fake  documents as well as other equipment used in creating such documents including colour printer, laptop, lamination machine, biometric device etc were seized.

It has been learnt that many who used the fake documents that he created had  availed loans from banks as well as facilities from government using them.
