Mangaluru: CCB police arrest auto driver for drugs trafficking; seize MDMA worth Rs 3.75 lakhs

Mangaluru, March 5, 2025: CCB police have arrested an autorickshaw driver for drugs trafficking and have seized 75 grams MDMA from him.

The arrested auto driver is Mohammad Abdul Jaleel (32) from Kasba Bengre. The CCB police acted on a tip off that he procured MDMA from Bengaluru and sold it to public and students in his autorickshaw.

The value of the seized MDMA is Rs 3.75 lakhs. The mobile phone and autorickshaw of the accused have also been seized.

A case has been registered in Bunder police station.
